Our history began in 1951. Initially operating as the Co-operative of Disabled People "Postęp". We combined business activity with a social mission - creating jobs and supporting the local economy. Over the years, furniture manufacturing became our core specialization and remains the foundation of our operations today.

Cooperation with IKEA - a Milestone

In 2007, we began our long-standing cooperation with IKEA - a turning point in our company’s development. This strategic partnership enabled us to scale operations, refine production processes, and establish our position as a reliable, large-scale furniture supplier on the international market.

A New Chapter - Postęp Sp. z o.o.

In 2010, we transitioned into a limited liability company (Postęp Sp. z o.o.), marking a new stage in our development. This change opened new opportunities for growth, investment, and long-term partnerships with global B2B partners.

Systematic Infrastructure Development

Over the years, we have consistently invested in expanding and modernizing our operations to meet the growing demands of large-scale furniture production. While the milestones below mark key moments in our development, they represent just part of our broader commitment to continuous improvement:

• 2016 - Expansion of our main factory on Wroniecka Street, significantly increasing production capacity.

• 2019 - Opening of Plant No. 2 on Wspólna 1F in Pniewy, focused on panel cutting and the packaging of selected products.

• 2023 - Launch of our finished goods warehouse on Poznańska 67A, improving logistics and stock management.

In addition to infrastructure expansion, we continue to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies - including packaging line automation, robotic equipment, and process optimization - to ensure efficiency, scalability, and consistent product quality.

From Manufacturer to Brand: POSNORD

In 2025, we launched POSNORD, opening a new chapter focused on retail and direct-to-customer engagement. POSNORD products debuted on Amazon, reaching customers looking for simple, durable, and aesthetically pleasing solutions for their interiors. POSNORD is the result of our long-standing expertise in large-scale furniture manufacturing - combined with modern design, functionality, and the quality we’ve been known for over the years.
